Our sail training Yacht “SPIRIT” is a beautifully maintained Beneteau first 435 Frers designed yacht. The yacht was launched in 1985 and has only had 2 owners. Spirit has been used for skippered charters, racing and sail training. She is easily sailed by crew and offers fast comfortable cruising.
SPIRIT's layout has 3 double cabins. The 2 aft cabin bunks can be separated by leesheets and the forward double cabin is suitable for couples. We generally take up to 7 students to keep it more personal.
It is clearly a very comfortable boat to learn to sail being adept in light breezes as well as much stronger conditions. Students have commented on her speed considering the level of comfort Spirit provides.
As a proven Blue Water Campaigner (i.e. Sydney to Hobart yacht race, Brisbane to Gladstone yacht race) she can cater for the beginner and the experienced Yachtsperson. You can complete all your sail training courses as well as enjoy cruising the Whitsunday Coast.
"SPIRIT" is also available for private yacht charter and team building adventures.
